Our Approach

Our approach is rooted in the belief that healing is relational.

We focus on creating a collaborative and nurturing therapeutic relationship, so that you can feel empowered to explore the deeper roots of your experiences. Our therapeutic style is centered around relational and attachment-based therapies, which emphasize the therapeutic relationship as the vessel for your healing journey.

The Way We Work

⁕ Attachment and Relational-Based Therapy

We believe therapy is more than problem-solving or intellectual insight. Instead, it is a relational and experiential process of healing.

Together, we co-create a therapeutic relationship that supports you in gently exploring and working through attachment wounds.

Many of our struggles originate in early relationships and in the ways we learned to connect—or disconnect—from our own emotional needs. In our work together, we explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, helping you understand how past experiences continue to shape your present relationships, behaviors, and sense of self.

This process allows for deeper healing, supporting you in developing more secure, fulfilling, and authentic connections with both yourself and others.

⁕ Internal Family Systems (IFS)

We are trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), a transformative model that recognizes the complexity of the human psyche.

Rather than seeing you as “one self,” IFS understands that we are all made up of different internal parts, each shaped by lived experience and protective in nature.

In our work together, we help you gently identify and connect with these parts, approaching them with curiosity, respect, and compassion rather than judgment. Over time, this process helps you build a stronger connection to your core Self, fostering greater inner harmony, clarity, and self-compassion.

IFS allows for healing that is not just insight-based, but deeply relational and internally reparative.

⁕ Somatic Trauma Therapy

We also integrate somatic (body-based) approaches to trauma healing, recognizing that emotional experiences are not only held in the mind, but also in the body.

Trauma and chronic stress can shape the nervous system in ways that impact how you feel, respond, and relate—often outside of conscious awareness. Somatic therapy helps you gently reconnect with your body’s signals and capacity for regulation.

In our work, we may explore sensations, patterns of activation or shutdown, and the ways your body holds and expresses emotional experience. This process is always paced carefully and collaboratively, honoring your sense of safety and readiness.

Through somatic work, clients often develop a deeper sense of grounding, presence, and internal safety, allowing for more integrated and lasting healing.

What You Can Expect

In our sessions, you can expect a blend of relatability, authenticity, and deep inquiry. We honor and welcome our full selves into the therapeutic space, combining professional expertise with a genuine, human connection (no blank slates here!!) Whether we are working through attachment wounds, exploring your relationship to yourself, or learning to sit with, rather than disconnect from difficult emotions, our goal is to support you in becoming the most authentic version of yourself.

Therapy with us is not about quick fixes or surface-level solutions. It’s about diving deep, understanding the roots of your struggles, and empowering you to make meaningful, lasting change.
