Meet Mikki, LICSW

Hello! I’m Mikki (she/her).

Massachusetts Therapist: Telehealth

If you've already spent time in therapy and have a solid understanding of your patterns, but still find yourself getting stuck in the same places, you may be ready for a different kind of work. My passion is helping people move beyond insight and into deeper healing through experiential, body-based approaches that create lasting change and Self-reconnection.

I believe meaningful therapy happens in the context of a genuine human relationship. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe enough to be fully yourself, bringing your messy parts, vulnerable parts, hopeful parts, goofy parts, and everything in between.  While we may explore difficult emotions and experiences, our work together doesn't have to feel overly clinical or heavy all the time. I bring warmth, curiosity, humor, and authenticity into the therapy room, and yes, an occasional well-placed f-bomb. Healing can be profound, and it can also include moments of laughter, lightness, and connection.

I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), and I hold a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and Women’s/Gender Studies from Skidmore College.

My approach is grounded in Internal Family Systems (IFS), mindfulness, and somatic healing. I show up authentically for my clients and bring a feminist and LGBTQIA+ affirming lens to my work. As a certified Kripalu Yoga Teacher with extensive training in mindfulness meditation, I often integrate body awareness and nervous system-based practices into the therapeutic process. Together, we'll explore the parts of you that have developed to protect, manage, and survive, helping you cultivate greater self-compassion, internal harmony, and freedom.

When I'm not seeing clients, you'll find me spending time in nature, curling up with a good book, working on a puzzle, listening to live music, hiking, cooking, and spending time with family and friends.

I would be honored to support you in this next stage of your healing journey.
